SWIB will serve a meal at The Bowery Mission - Tribeca campus. The Bowery Mission is an organization dedicated to serving homeless and hungry New Yorkers since 1879.


Monday April 1:

Habit house Workshop | 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm @ KMC 1-100

Learn how to build sustainable, empowering wellness habits with Habit House founder and NYU Stern Alum, Ilse Paanakker. During this interactive workshop attendees will build a personalized habit-building plan, including actionable steps to incorporate the plan into their lifestyle.


Tuesday April 2:

ESA FEMALE FOUNDERS PANEL | 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm @ KMC 1-100

The Entrepreneurship and Startup Association (ESA) and Stern Women in Business (SWIB) feature prominent female investors along with a female founder in their portfolio for a moderated panel discussion to discuss the ways in which they support one another, create effective mentorship relationships, and propel each other to succeed.


COCKTAILS & conversations | 6:00pm - 8:30pm @ KMC 5-50

Alumni and current SWIB members will connect over drinks and light appetizers with special guests Professor Susan Stehlik and Professor Hansen.With decades of experience in leadership training, they will share their research on conscious communication strategies and how listening can enhance personal responsibility for leading in an increasingly polarized society. In addition to their research, you’ll walk away with practical exercises to improve your listening and have more effective conversations in all aspects of your life.


Wednesday April 3:

Finding Your Inspired Leadership | 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM @ KMC 3-80

It's time to excavate what is, perhaps, standing in your way of inspired leadership. Through group sharing, exploratory discussions and feedback, we will seek out the default thought patterns that are creating your current experience and look for stresses, gaps and behaviors that no longer serve you or belong to you. This one hour interactive session will be led by Connie Kim, Senior Director of Leadership Development of NYU Stern MBA Program.


SELF-CARE AND THE CITY | 4:30 - 5:30 pm @ KMC 11-75

Finance executive turned wellness author Michelle Cady will share her experiences prioritizing health and wellness in the midst of a demanding professional career. Attendees will walk away with actionable ways to incorporate wellness practices into their daily lives, improving improve energy and professional performance. Attendees will receive a copy of Michelle's book, Self-Care in the City.


Thursday April 4:

Real Meal: What is allyship? | 12:00 PM - 1:15PM @KMC 2-60

Building upon last year's event, we are organizing a Real Meal for Male Allies to bring the men of Stern into the #MeToo conversation.
Let's come together to learn more about the movement and share perspectives and insights that can increase our collective EQ. All levels of allyship and knowledge about #MeToo are welcome. The goal is to ask questions, educate, and practice for those at any stage in the journey of allyship.
Moderated by Professor Pettit, this Real Meal will be open to all Stern students as well as alumni.
