Jennifer Gewant, aVP Langone

Why did you join SWIB? I am extremely passionate about amplifying female voices in the business world. I hope to connect women, empower them, and help with strategies for succeeding in companies where women might be a minority. Juggling a full time job and a rigorous part-time MBA program is not easy, and I hope to help Langone women (and allies) connect and build a strong community!

Favorite part about Stern: My favorite part about Stern is the flexibility. The Langone program allows me to work full-time with classes outside my corporate job hours.

Advice for women considering pursuing business school: Do it and don’t look back. There are many formats to get your MBA: EMBA, full-time, part-time, and specialty (like the Tech MBA). Find the format that works best for you and it will be worth it in terms of investment.

Fun Fact: I am passionate about cycling and rode my bike over 150 miles in Mallorca, Spain in September!
