What do you love about SWIB? I love how supportive the community is, empowering ourselves and each other to make a meaningful change both here at Stern and in the workplace beyond.
Favorite SWIB Memory? In my very first board meeting, not knowing what to expect, I was very impressed with how open the discussion was and enthusiastically everyone wanted to tackle those typically difficult to talk about topics (such as mental health, inclusion, and balancing motherhood with career).
Favorite part about Stern: The people. The collaboration. The warmheartedness.
Advice for women considering pursuing business school: Think about what the end goal is for having the MBA degree, don't think about whether or not you think you can do it. If the MBA is the thing that's going to be most effective in accelerating your career - go for it! Don't let imposter syndrome or any other fears get in the way, as we are such a diverse group of people that odds are, whatever your background, you'll fit right in.
Fun Fact: I love to cook but I am really bad at cooking just for myself. As such, I end up accidentally meal-prepping when I cook in huge quantities. Fortunately, it makes family holidays really easy/efficient (I think my record is a meal for 8 people, with at least 8 dishes including homemade bread & desert, in 6 hours).
